Bienvenu to the Grand Re-Opening!

Hey, everyone out there in cyber-space!
So I began this blog back in 2006, and now 3 years later I'm beginning again. Looking back, I really wrote about lame and pathetic things, but that's precious and endearing, n'est-ce pas?
However, this time around, while I might rant a bit or write about whatever, I have re-begun this blog for a specific reason: to have a way to tell of mes aventures en France l'année prochaine!
Don't readjust your screen, that last bit was in French [translation: my adventures in France next year!]. I have recently found out I was selected to be an assitant teacher in an English class in France for the 09-10 school year!
I had applied through the French Embassy and held my breath for about 4 months, and then I received an email telling me I was in! I will be in the region of Grenoble (where I studied abroad from Jan-May 2008). They will send me more deets in June (like which town I will be in and at which school I will teach). This wait is almost even more agonizing, because now I have to worry about finding a furnished apartment somewhere and I can't even begin to look for one because I don't even know what city I will be living in! But I am very much excited... and nervous. I'll be living by myself, not knowing anyone else, in France. But on the other hand, I feel like I'm going home again...is that weird? I truly love France and the Alps, and so I can't wait to be back over there!
Anyways, so I will be typing up stuff that happens as I prepare for France and then once I'm over there, things I do and experience. Also I'm graduating from college here in a few months too, so as I am stressed out beyond belief right now, I may write about that as well (Hey, Back off! It's my blog, I can write about whatever I want!) As I am a drama queen, be prepared for a roller-coaster ride of emotion as you graduate from college, move back home, travel to, and live in France with Linnea, your guide to all things exciting and nervous-making!
Peace out,
Linnea
